Kapi in the Mountains
Fresh air, high peaks and icy streams. Kapi puts on her knitted hat and sets off on a real mountain hike.
Over the rocks
Mountain meadows, a chamois on a rock and an eagle circling high above. Kapi climbs up rocky steps to a plateau. The icy streams are too cold for swimming – better to jump over them.
The rope bridge
A rope bridge sways over a deep gorge. One plank is missing, so Kapi has to take a brave jump over the gap. Pine trees and prickly thistles grow on the other side.
Rowing across the lake
On the mountain lake a little boat is waiting. Kapi rows across – but every now and then a trout leaps out of the water and bumps the boat back. Patience: wait until it dives, then row on. On the far shore a marmot is waiting.
