Kapi in the Japanese Garden
Cherry trees in bloom, red bridges and quiet ponds. Kapi walks through a beautiful Japanese garden – and looks forward to a warm bath.
Stepping stones in the koi pond
Through the garden gate, past a lantern and a tanuki, Kapi reaches the first koi pond. Stepping stones lead across – but they slowly sink when she stands on them. Colorful koi swim underneath.
Paper kites
A tall bamboo fence blocks the way. Kapi grabs a paper kite and floats over it. On the other side hornets buzz around, and a bamboo catapult flings her up to a red bridge.
The hot spring
A second kite takes Kapi up to a tall rock, where a little macaque is waiting. Then she walks through a red torii gate to the steaming hot spring – and has a well-earned soak with a towel on her head.
