Kapi in the Carnivorous Forest
In this jungle the plants are hungry! Huge flytraps open and close their mouths, and Kapi must pick the right moment to cross.
Snapping flytraps
Flytraps grow on tall stalks. When they are closed, Kapi can stand on them like a step. But every few seconds they open – and before that they start to shake. That is the signal to move on.
Sticky moss
Some places are covered in sticky sundew moss. Kapi's paws stick to it, so she walks and jumps more slowly there. Beetles crawl around and dragonflies buzz above.
The wave
Over a deep pit grows a whole row of flytraps. They open one after another, like a wave. Kapi has to run right behind it. Up on a high branch a chameleon is waiting.
